This is not an exact quote from “Proof Of Heaven”, but close and, we think, very important.
Dr Alexander finds himself in a place of fluffy clouds. Above the clouds, he visualized beings soaring through the sky, beings that he describes as `higher forms.’ These beings (or angels?) made a joyful sound that was unlike anything he had ever experienced before. A sound that he could feel, even more than hear. He was then joined by millions of butterflies and a woman, who spoke to him “without using any words.”
“You are loved and cherished, dearly, forever.” “You have nothing to fear. There is nothing you can do wrong.”
This is consistent with with our, long held beliefs. That God has only one law.
Love.
In the early to mid 1970s, I was one of many looking for answers and I read a book that claims to be ancient Aramaic Texts Translated and edited by Edmond Bordeaux Szekely. Sort of a Dead Sea Scroll. Found in its original form. Not re-written and re-translated, like nearly every religious text that we have today. It is sometimes called, “The Essene Gospel Of Peace.” I will always remember this part:
“Wherefore are the laws of the Pharisees and Scribes innumerable; the laws of the Son of Man seven; of the angels three; and of God one.”
Found today at http://www.essene.com/GospelOfPeace/peace1.html and this link is an index http://www.essene.com/GospelOfPeace/index.html
This may be too Woo Woo or too Religious or whatever for you. That is OK. You do not need to accept it. I am just explaining where my thoughts are. Not to worry. Wouldn’t the World be a better place if people liked each other and knew that they were liked?
To me, that is what “You are loved and cherished, dearly, forever.” “You have nothing to fear. There is nothing you can do wrong.” means.
Janet is clearly loved by the hundreds of you that have known her and she loves you. That is a start.
There was a wonderful, free Yoga Class offered at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance. I think the instructor told us one day of the student that asked the Master, “Master, which exercise is the most important that I teach this man?”
“The one that he will do.” was the answer.
We hope that you will consider increasing the width and depth of your Love to include what you can now. The rest, you can work on in the Future. I know that I cannot, honestly say, that I can offer unconditional Love. But, I can work on doing better at it.
Janet is still with us, but I am told by the Nurse, not for long. Indeed, we DO “smile because it happened.” Thanks Dr. Seuss.

Beautifully said, Dave. Thank you for sharing this sacred time with us. May the love from hundreds of us fill Janet’s sails and help usher her on her smooth passage Home. So glad you have read Proof of Heaven. May you both be embraced by the “Peace that passeth understanding.” XO
Dear Janet and David, you continue to blaze trail for us all. You are truly amazing people. Thank you.
Jennie
Dear cousins – thank you so much for your blog – i’ve sent it to all the “Houston connection” so we can all keep up with you, and pray for you two through each day you are such a writer david – perhaps some day you will put these writings in a book to help others. i think janet will like that idea.
On LOVE. A hymn “Love Has Come” has a line, ‘love is the peace our hearts are seaking’.
I like that.
